Starting today, you’ll see that Avalanche is coming soon for depositing and withdrawing your NFTs in your RECUR Wallet. Deposits and withdrawals on Avalanche will be available beginning May 25th.
Cross-chain interoperability is a big deal. Over the past few weeks you’ve experienced the magic of Multi-Chain Deposits and Withdrawals on RECUR. You’ve been able to transfer your NFTs across the Ethereum and Polygon networks with ease for the first time. Well get ready because next week you can take it to a whole new level.
Want to seamlessly move your NFTs from Ethereum to Avalanche to Polygon and back again? No problem. You’ll be able to take a trip around the world of Web3 and interact with all the Avalanche ecosystem has to offer.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: as Web3 evolves, we’ll be right there building alongside it.
In case you haven’t heard, Avalanche offers a scalable, low cost, and sustainable platform for smart contract development while using 35,000 times less energy than Ethereum. They’ve proven to keep sustainability top of mind while managing to preserve three second block times. Wow. That’s a pretty great evolution for the space if you ask us.
With new networks come new communities and new opportunities.
We’re thrilled to be welcoming the Avalanche community onto RECUR. With RECUR and RECUR-powered experiences, you have access to some of the world’s most beloved IP across Paramount, Star Trek, college sports, and more coming soon.
We firmly believe that creators need to maintain their royalties regardless of which ecosystems NFTs move across.
That’s why we’ll be working with Avalanche and their ecosystem partners — from marketplaces and metaverses to games and more — to adopt and implement the EIP 2981 NFT Royalty Standard. That way, we can all further support artists, creators, and IP that help make our NFT community so great.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for what we’ve been working on to make the Metaverse more open, easy, and fun. Follow us on Twitter and join us on Discord to stay up to date on what’s coming next.
