BREAKING: NYC Turtle Adoptions worth Shell-ebrating!

Manhattan, NY — On the corner of this famous city block hides a half-forgotten New York institution.

But once a year, a crowd of excited patrons once a year shines a spotlight on this otherwise dark corner of town.

Tucked under a historic brownstone, the Empire State Pet Shop is preparing for its annual Turtle Adoption Extravaganza.

And this year’s event is set to be a real doozy.

The pet shop plans to adopt a record 10,000 Turtles to homes across the globe.

Here’s what you can expect from this shell-binding a-drop-tion:

1. Starting in 2023, 10,000 Turtles — as digital collectibles — will be available on info.tmnt.xyz. The adoption fee will be $100 per Turtle.
2. These Turtles (algorithmically-generated collectibles) exhibit four distinct Turtle personalities. Sources tell me this could lead to unexpected twists and a new, interactive journey for Turtle fans everywhere.
3. I’ve received word that certain RECUR Pass and Nickelodeon holders will receive an allowlist code to jump the adoption line.
4. Holders of Nickelodeon Season 1 and Season 2 Mashups will receive a free pack for the first TMNT: Origins drop.

While this event seems to be bringing out the best in the city, it’s hard to ignore the backdrop of rising crime.

But as crime looms large, one thing’s for sure; these Turtles seem destined for something much bigger.
